Real questions from our Seattle customers.
Almost certainly, yes. Galaxy Electric handles residential and commercial electrical work of every size — from replacing a single outlet or light fixture to EV chargers, panel upgrades, full or partial rewiring, generators, smart home systems, and new construction wiring. If your project involves electricity, we can help — and if something ever falls outside our scope, we’ll tell you right away and point you in the right direction. Call (206) 414-1211 and describe your project.
Yes. Galaxy Electric & Solar LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured electrical contractor in Washington State, serving Seattle and the Greater Seattle area. Our work is permitted and inspected where required, and every job is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty. You can verify any Washington contractor through the Department of Labor & Industries “Verify a Contractor” tool.
Simple and pressure-free. Describe your project by phone, email, or our online booking form — photos help a lot. Smaller jobs can often be quoted from photos; for bigger projects (panels, rewiring, EV chargers) we do an on-site evaluation, check your existing electrical system, and run a load calculation if needed. You always get a clear written quote before any work begins.
Yes — every electrical job we complete is covered by a 2-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself (chargers, panels, fixtures) apply on top of that.
Washington does allow homeowners to do some electrical work on their own primary residence with a homeowner’s permit and inspection — but in practice, mistakes are dangerous and expensive: fire risk, failed inspections, insurance problems, and trouble when selling the home. Anything involving the panel, new circuits, or 240V should be done by a licensed electrician. A good rule of thumb: swapping a light fixture on an existing box is reasonable DIY territory; for anything beyond that, calling us costs less than repairing DIY damage.
